There’s so many things that I want to do, but I get overwhelmed very easily. It’s frustrating, cause I can feel this way, even when nothing much is going on. And then I feel ashamed about it. Like, why am I this way?

It’s not that I feel this way 24/7… there’s times when I’m productive and get things done. But it’s a cycle that always swings back to the feelings of overwhelm.

So, I started looking around for articles about how to handle overwhelm, and came across one about ADD, and how it relates to this. I read more articles, took a few ADD tests (online), and it’s clear to me that THIS is what’s been going on with me. So many of the symptoms match.

I thought that ADD mostly affected children (especially boys), but more than 5 million women have it. Also, in adults, ADD often looks quite different than it does in children, and its symptoms are unique for each individual.

I'm going to try some self help things that I read about in the articles, and see how that goes. And I will "always keep fighting"!
