(no subject)
went and saw "wicked" last night with emily, ngiamy, and anne mary in boston. que fabuloso!!! really really enjoyed it. should have been doing tons of other things, but no matter. amazing costumes, sets... just sooo visually stunning. yah there were some notes that elphaba could have used some help on. and glinda was about 5 years too old. but other than that and a couple little tiny goat head mishaps, it was fabulous. and just such a nice escape!
also happy yesterday: I got $750 from the committee on human rights for thesis research!! wahoo!!! and from the email, it sounds like i should be getting funding from elsewhere too. still haven't heard from DRCLAS so i assume that's where it's coming from... exciting! i can go to mexico!
other than that, rooming may finally be almost figured out... liveing with xin wei, emily, leah, alex (roommate of zdubs and emily from freshman year), devon (lovely gay blockmate of theirs), ryder (yes, of the g&s board), and one other person, male, as yet uncertain though we have options. Apparently because all the bedrooms in the quads lock, so long as we have two connecting suites and thus 2 bathrooms, we can have mixed rooms. shoudl be exciting!
and... i'm way behind on alice sewing. but oh well. *sigh*
