my mom told me on friday that, looking back, i'm going to see this as the best time of my life. i kind of sniffed at that, but she called me out on it, and now i see she's right. i told her, the school sucks, but the in-between, that's usually pretty good.
my in-between right now is very, very good!

well, there is! i used to think that i was this hugely unhappy person, but how easy is it to get me to crack up about something, or joke around or be silly even when all of life seems to be falling down around me? because those bad things always end, eventually. so... my schedule for the next few weeks is full of falling, but also full of in-betweens, that i'm eagerly anticipating. friday night was proof to myself that i do indeed enjoy a good time.
