As The World Falls Down - A Dionysus & Tyche Fanmix

PAIRING: Dionysus/Tyche
TITLE: As The World Falls Down
NOTES: So basically, these two are my familial OTP for my post-apocalyptic Greek mythology verse, and I really really love writing them together. They’ve both lost their loved ones, and while Tyche has always been something of a favoured niece of Dionysus’, she’s begun to see him as something of a second father to her now that they’re in the situation they’re in with the Titan takeover and everything else. He’s pretty much one of the few people she feels like she can open up to completely about her feelings on losing her husband during the Fall of Olympus, since he was the one who found her after the battle with Aeolus’ body. Hell, she doesn’t even tell Hermes half the stuff she tells Dionysus, and he’s her father. And having someone around who relies on him the way Tyche does has pretty much stopped Dion spiralling into his own black hole of grief, sex and booze over losing Ariadne during the battle too. So yeah I LOVE THEM BOTH, AND ALWAYS WILL <3 I don’t really think there’s much of an arc with this, other than between the first and last songs where they kinda start off in this super serious and dark place, but by the end of my narrative, they’ve started to come out of it stronger for the experience with all of the things they’ve gone through together.
