Welcome to the new site, in blog-format. This should work better than the old e-mail system that has been in place since the Umpire Ejection Fantasy League started up in 2006, and should allow the League to reach more people who may be interested in MLB Umpiring, Umpire Ejections, and the like. Down the line, we should also be able to open up the League to this new audience, as well as keep everyone updated on season standings, thanks to a new Microsoft Excel tracking system the League is going to use for statistical recording purposes. For instance, in 2006, Excel helped many League fans see that ejections occurring when a team was losing tended to help a team 'turn it around' and win more often than ejections that occurred when a team was tied. Ejections that occurred when a team was actually leading tended to hurt the team's performance, if the game was close at the time.
