The Children of Dune mini-series has its flaws - Susan Sarandon is essentially wasted as a one-note villainess, all the characters get a little shafted in the development department b/c there's so many of them - but stunning visuals, nifty effects and a whole passel of good lookin', intense-eyed, well-built boys and pretty big-eyed girls are not among them. example: the guy playing Duncan Idaho is like a younger, hotter Colin Firth.
As the roommate - notorious for her predilection for geeky, baby-faced, non-intense, harmless-looking boys - said: "curse my weakness for intense muscular foreign boys in tight pants!" heh.
