keeping with the theme of last night's youtube, here's a wishlist of a different sort. i have a goal to start keeping snakes again by the end of this year and into the spring of next. i really miss herpetology and the hard, rewarding work that comes from keeping these animals. i want to do it right this time though, with species i'm genuinely ( Read more... )

ohhhh nice list [not that I have much knowledge of herpetology to begin with so I'm just fascinated by the pictures, as fail as that is... but nice choices?~]

like the lavender corn snake! the Brazilian rainbow boa too. The black king snake is a bit creepy though......

even if not all the lavenders turn out purplish, they're still lovely steely-silver and grey. and that picture of the black king is kind of intense XD kingsnakes are kind of goofy and usually have such like, derp faces.

they do have little beady eyes--my peublan milksnake (related to kings) had the goofiest little black eyes, it ruined any sort of scary image.
