Franck Ribery tried to rearrange Arbeloa's face

Wednesday's friendly against Spain was not a good time for France. They lost 2-0 at home, the fans jeered Thierry Henry, and Raymond Domenech was still their manager.
Franck Ribery, however, did not go down without a fight. Well, it wasn't a fight so much as an attempt to use Spanish defender Alvaro Arbeloa's face as Silly Putty before getting subbed off in the 74th minute. The referee missed this facial violation, though, so Ribery went unpunished. Arbeloa, meanwhile, will probably be smelling sardines for days (which, for some reason, I imagine Ribery scarfs down by the handful).
