A sports merit award for Álvaro!
Álvaro received a sports merit award! :D He would also deserve an entertainment merit award with his posts on Twitter, but first things first, obviously. XDD

Álvaro Arbeloa was awarded the Medal for Sports Merit of Aragón in an event held in conjunction with the presentation of the 28th Scholastic Games of Aragón.
"It is an honour to be awarded in my own city where I grew up. For many years I played in this school because I used to live nearby, which is why it is so special for me."
"It is always useful to win before a stoppage. The squad played well against Deportivo and scored, which was the only thing missing."
"For the moment, the anxiety we had has disappeared with our victory last Sunday. Every single one of us played very well and we hope to continue at this same level for the rest of the season. We keep improving every day and I think we are just going to get better."
