Luke knows, of course, but his parentage is still a secret! Must be hard to keep quiet in circumstances such as this. And he wants to protect Leia.

As for Artoo, I do believe he's re-living the past trauma of all that he witnessed. I know he's a droid, and his reactions and responses are supposed to be rational - but I just don't see him that way. His fear is complex - it's not so much that he wants to prevent Luke from discovering things as that he wants to protect him and keep him safe from memories that Artoo finds painful. More on Artoo later, because I can't remember where I've said what!
