I love so much that in SW universe droids are not machines but characters. :)
It was fascinating to listen to Mon Mothma's memories of the prequels' events, her suspicions concerning what we know better than her, and also what we can only guess, too. And gratifying to know that Luke will learn something about the past, especially about Padme.

Writing about these events gets a bit tricky sometimes - at least for me! Because the situations and relationships are so familiar to us, I have to keep checking that I don't give someone more knowledge than they could have had! I do think, though, that other Senators etc. would have deduced certain things about Padmé, even if they would have had no clue as to the actual circumstances. I like to imagine that Senators such as Danu would have been intrigued by her sympathy towards the Jedi and might have wanted to take that further.

Other than those deleted scenes, we don't see much interaction between this group of Senators, but I believe it would have been very much more than we see, albeit done in secret.
