Fingers crossed
I woke up this morning feeling a bit less blah than before I went to sleep. So that's good news.
I also saw some other happy news. My B&N shipment may be arriving today instead of tomorrow. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it arrives today. What's in the box? Three wonderful things!
I ordered Lani Diane Rich's The Fortune Quilt since my local book stores failed me by not having it in stock. They're discussing it in the Cherry Forums Book Club until the 15th, and if I hurry up and read it, I get to play, too. Also? I love Lani's books. :)
I also have the second book in Rachel Caine's YA Morganville Vampire series, The Dead Girls' Dance. I thought the first in the series was a fun and original take on vampires and vampire society which is NOT easy to do these days. And sometimes a YA book just helps cleanse the reading palette.
Last, but certainly not least, I purchased season 2.5 of Battlestar Galactica. I can now rewatch it (and drool over the hot men) to my heart's content. I've also massively freed up my Netflix queue. So, yay!
