Hey, loves! I'm ba-ack! Yes, I'm back at home with my familia for Thanksgiving Break safe and sound with my (finally) fixed laptop! Goodness, you have no idea how wonderful it feels to say this!
Firstly, I want to wish you all a very very very Happy Thanksgiving!! Eat lots of turkey and celebrate life! It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas 'round these here parts, and frankly, I'm thrilled. I can't get enough of non-alcoholic eggnog and gingerbread people and rosy rosy cheeks because of the subzero temperatures. Not to mention extended family time. Boy, I've missed my mamma's cooking, my dad's hugs and my little (ironically, he's far far taller than me) brother's company. Mm, love. There's not one day that passes when I don't think about how blessed I am with such an extraordinary family.
It's been a tumultous and trying month and a half, but I am so thankful because I've learned much; it's been wonderful. I've suffered two deaths; one being physical, one being simply metaphorical. You see, a week and a half ago (gosh, I can't even write this without crying) I was informed that my
, Biggy, of nine (yes, NINE years) passed away. I was hysterical. I truly think there's just this undescribable and untouched bond that one can form with their pets and oh, did I take it hard. Luckily, I've got such a strong support system of family and friends (ahem, excluding you, Gowri.. no really!) that I don't think about him not being around as terrible, rather, I focus on the primary fact that he's in a better place. Boy, did it break my heart to not hear his little chipper squeaking when I walked in the doors to my house, though. Rest in Peace, Biglet. I LOVE YOU SO VERY MUCH, Porker!! More than these mere typed words can express. Sigh! The second death was that of my past relationship with that boy. Basically, I ended things promptly because of a few things!: 1.) I deserve much much better; relationships are not one-sided and they shouldn't revolve around whenever either of us is feeling particularly randy. 2.) Ohh, girls. Honestly, one girl in particular in pursuit of the guys who like me once she finds out that they do. I'm going to keep her nameless, and keep this entire point brief, I'll just go to the extent of saying that silly boys shouldn't fall for silly girls' traps! 3.) He moved away without even telling me. He insisted that it was because he "thought it would be best not to tell me there until he got there because he wanted to preserve our friendship." I think it sounds like a bunch of baloney! Anyhow, he's out of my life (though he calls, texts and claims that we're still good friends.. hm) and I'm incredibly single!
Speaking of, this break has provided me ample opportunity to just have some downtime and time away from these gorgeous, crazy, poledancing, crossdressing, falling-down-belligerent fellas (psh, I love 'em):
Eee, I have such great friends (well, when they're not being tons of drama)! And to think at the
beginning of the semester I was stressing out about not being able to live with my "best friends" from last year. Phew!

And again;

Raegen is so beautiful!
Whitneyyy! She calls me "Mickey Spears" and I call her "Whitney Murphy." She's so sweet! I have tons of stories to tell about being an official Axe Bodyspray Angel, sushi, gangsta rap / drive-by shootings, my new extra-conscientiousness, Sex and the City and the cute guy in my Power Abs class, but those will just have to wait for another time (preferably a time when I'm more alert)! It's eeearly and I'm exhausted! Goodniiiight.
