Get down, girl, go 'head, get down!
It's been one crazy crazy week, and that's completely understated!:
(Aaha, Keysha - first photo, the girl with her head down - fell over about two seconds after that picture was taken.) I've been wearing my hair in fancy updos because I haven't had the extra fifteen minutes to spend curling it; besides, my hair is growingg and that makes me reeeal happy. :D Busy. Much has changed this school year, namely my close friends. I rarely talk to Erica and Sarah (the girls I was supposed to room with) anymore, whereas before, I would talk to them daily. It's wonderful, I've seen which girls are genuinely willing to stick by despite the misunderstandings and meaningless drama (Diana, Stacy, Holly, Emily, Cassi, new roommates, new new people)! I've already opened up more to my roommates than I ever did to Erica and Sarah last year; it's a simple trust factor, I'm learning more to tell who's genuine and who's just self-concerned. For once, I'm appreciating and embracing change, and I love it. It's been adventurous: alleyways, hallways, decorating my room (it's still not quite finished yet!), 99 Bananas, long, winding drives around the town with Christie while talking through dilemmas and laughing at dirty boys with some bad pickup lines (for example: "you got a nice rack, and a nice ass.. you got it ALL!") and boys wonder why I'm so uninterested, pff! Speaking of boys, there's this boy (oh, but just a friend, you know?) that I've been cuddling with under my blankets that's in my Literature class. He gives spectacular massages and has a spectacular sense of style. I can see us being really really good friends! This week (music-wise): new Kanye, Gwen Stefani, with hints of Caribou and Cat Power. Keeps me shakin' my booty in my sparetime. So,
