i read this last night and now i'm reading again lol this was sooooo good. i love the fact that you didn't write about a canon couple. since it's an uncommon pairing we feel kind of awkward, just like they probably feel about the whole situation (obviously for different reasons but yeah...the awkwardness is there). i kind of wanna give it a try on this au but time...but i really really loved the plot (even if you say it's pwp) cuz it opens the possibility of writing about other couples, different and uncommon couples without making it seem like it came out of the blue, like "why are you making them a couple? there's barely any interaction between them". in this au this is possible cuz i mean, they are choosing randomly. there are so many possibilities and each more interesting than the other: tao and chanyeol, chen and kyungsoo, suho and luhan, minseok and sehun...it's pretty hard to find a couple with baekhyun or luhan that doesn't seem possible cuz i swear these two are the most shippable members ever LOL anyway, i really really liked this fic, i hope someone will continue it and keep it with the uncommon pairings <3

Ahh, thank you! Well tbf there isn't any "canon" couple in exo lol but yeah it probably wouldn't be interesting if it started with a more common pairing. (I believe the motivation was "need moar rarepair porn"...) With two people who are less familiar with each other, the awkward tension is stronger. Haha there isn't really a "plot" per se, more like just the set-up of a premise. And yeah, it was indeed meant to be the set-up for a collaborative verse featuring multiple couples, depending on the next person's fancy. So yes, I hope people who have an interest in it would follow up with their own pairing of choice, be that a common pairing or a rarer one. <3
