ahh so i read this a while back. I read it, loved it to bits, and ran away telling myself that I'll come back and leave a comment after I figure out how exactly I can properly express my feelings about this story (and basically your lukai glory days series as a whole ;A;)

but! honestly i still can't exactly figure out a way to say it but i feel like there's always this niggling obligation in the back of my mind reminding me that i have to leave some kind of review so here i am.

So i've read all of your glory days stories, and I love how you basically string a series of vignettes...snapshots of kailu through the years...and how these short brief moments in time reveal the bigger picture of how their relationship progressed. And I love how you always write their feelings toward each other so subtly...how the comfortable silences and lingering touches and a couple words can so completely express the deep brotherly bond first and foremost (and the undercurrents of a beautiful lover-ship ;A;). You write love like its this impalpable...intangible blanket that is hovering over them...but...its...just..not..quite...that...obvious. If that makes sense. I'm not making sense. Sorry ;A;

And this story particularly, with them on the bed. I really have no words to describe how much I love this moment.

My headcanon for LuKai in this canonverse is that their relationship is something that always just simmers underneath the surface in the EXO years, and they spend more time struggling to keep it unspoken on the down-low than actually being together. That's why the LuKai couldn't afford to be overt until this last one, when EXO is long over and they're back to being independent people outside of the spotlight. ;; This is supposed to be their happy ending. I'm not quite one for romance so I'm really happy that you've enjoyed the underlying current of love in this series and you've followed them on this journey. ;; Thank you. ;;
