(no subject)
tried twice last week. first time, he wasn't there. sign said opens at "1ish" (no johnny, not lish, one-ish. ;) other sign said "be back at 6:45". so we showed up on saturday. sign said closed today, but will be open sunday", which was no help, as sunday was kaleb's baptism. which meant driving all the way to covina to marie's. lots of food, lots of family (excluding chance, ashley and lucas). blah blah blah. everytime we go over there, i get a migraine, and end up taking a nap.
monday...i have no recollection of monday. oh! my mom and i went shopping. got some new shirts, and bought david a bunch of shirts. :D nice shirts. got home so late in the day, that when david and doug walked in at 6, i thought it was 4, and they had got off really early! (they both work from 6:30-5) went grocery shopping. was really excited to start watching season three of babylon 5, but then discovered disc one was missing. in it's place was disc three. >:( and that was in a sealed package. emailed the manufacturers, and they'll be sending us a replacement. so we watched bleach instead.
today was molo. usually rachelle's here by 8:30. not today. called her at 8:40, to which i got "oh crap, i just woke up! i'm on my way!" was only a few minutes late.
i think i need to start bringing my notebook to that class...it's so insightful! the thoughts, the laughs, the ideas...they're amazing. grandma took her pay, once again, to take rachelle and i out to lunch. mmmmm, food. we finished late enough that Just Passing Through should have been open (at least according to their sign), but nooooooo. closed. drove home.
just called them to make an appointment so we can stop screwing around, and he said the earliest was 3. so why not update your freakin' sign?! anyhow, rachelle will be here tomorrow, and we'll go again. she's thinking about getting her nostril pierced again. her and marie both used to have them pierced, so when grandma heard i was getting my nose pierced, she thought it was that. but when i told her where, she said "i was afraid of that." but, i told her about retainers, and she seemed more okay with that, haha.
rachelle and i are going to ask grandma to watch the kids sometime this month, during the week, so we can take a day trip to ventura again, before she goes back to work next month. food, water, shopping shopping shopping...yes! can't wait. :)
sooooo....nose pics soon! and i have various pieces of nose goods from 14-10g, so that' a few months/maybe a year worth of stock. i'm thinking of staying at 10g for a few months, on my way up to 2/0g. i think that when i start getting that piercing/tattoo itch is when i'll start stretching it further. i can't wait to be able to see through my nose!
