I feel like it's necessary to post this because most people aren't even aware it's happening. (It's not in the news much, either).

This is one of the main things I hate about Canada. I don't understand the seal hunt... like, I understand it when it was necessary for LIFE, but now it's just moronic!

Every year on the news you hear about it, and every year I get sick over it and sign things and donate things and put on name on things to get it to end.

Meee neither. Actually I don't understand hunts for any reason: presumably back in the days seals had predators that people killed off, right?

Yeah. It makes me pretty ashamed. I hate that people think it's ok because 'they've always made their money this way'. That's how the slave traders felt at one point too! EVOLVE!.

Absolutely unacceptable. I can't believe that people would even go through with this. I mean, imagine one of those men who just clubbed a baby seal to its' death going home to small children. It doesn't click. It's completely wrong.
