summer
it finally feels like summer
the weather, the smells, it all exudes summer
kat and i went to the beach...and I had no sticker so couldn't get in. So we went to tilly pond and tanned in our bathing suits there instead. and ate. a lot. and emily came over tonight (i missed her!!) and I saw Tierney this afternoon. And Caroline. I feel like I'm getting so much done.
And I may have a job! YAY! Ann Taylor wants to hire me, except I'm seventeen so they are hesitant. Hopefully it'll work out or I'll...I dunno what I'll do. I had the oppurtunity to take a Shakespeare internship thingy but I think I'm gonna pass as I can't go to Maine if I do that...
other than that...the summer has had its ups and downs. saturday was no fun...yesterday was pretty okay. it was my cousin's wedding. the epitome of weddings. no, the parody of weddings. there was an announcer with an announcer's voice, and there was lots of other things that reminded me of Big Fat Greek Wedding, they did every tradition, and they made us (the guests) sing, and all that other silly stuff. But my Dad and I danced it up which was super fun. We rocked the sprinkler and the 70s disco dance, and the lawn mower, and grocery cart, and all those other super cool dances.
