RANDOM CARTOONS, BITCH!
I know we all love Pen Ward and Tv's Kyle. But I'm gonna blabber on about the lesser known Aliki Theofilopoulos of Random!Cartoons today.
Aliki has done two shorts for random!cartoons that I want to see more of "Yaki and Yumi", and "Girls on the Go!"

And oh my goodness, THANK YOU! That's quite the compliment coming from a cartoonist as good as yourself! I'm still pursuing animation as a freshmen at PrattMWP,so my big hope is that you will see me in the business one day ;)
Wait, wait wait...hold the phone! Executives are saying girls don't watch cartoons? That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard! Putting aside the fact that most girls love the same cartoons that are targeted at boys (Ren and Stimpy, Ed Edd n Eddy, Flapjack and so forth), what about all the cartoons aimed at girls that already exist? Like Dora the Explorer and Rainbow Brite. I'd say those shows were pretty successful!
When are the suits going to realize that the most successful cartoons are the ones that are DIFFERENT from what has already been done? Kids are not stupid, they know when they're being fed the same garbage over and over again...and they know when something tastier comes a long and they go CRAZY over it!
Well, I sincerely hope there's ONE producer out there who gets it and picks up your show. Maybe I could start a petition or something, if only just to prove that yes - the world does need a cartoon for girls that they can actually relate to.
