so, yeah, i had all these plans to icon different fandoms. and then
alias_challenge assigned "a dark turn" which is possibly, probably, my very favorite alias episode. so other fandoms will have to wait. the first time i watched this episode i was wringing my hands & jumping around on the sofa. truly, a fine hour of television. *sigh*
i also made a jack/irina mix cd with cover art. because, well, BEST SHIP EVER.

the songs are intended to follow the emotions of the episode. so it begins with quasi-love songs that have an underlying sense of apprehension or distrust. then the two pj harvey songs provide the dark turn -- the moment of giving in & then everything falling apart. and the songs after that are about betrayal, regret, resignation. i dunno, maybe it only works in my own head...
