it's that song that reminds you of 10th yr cross country
or 7th grade with her
or 11th yr happiness with him
97.5 has done wonders in playing all of the songs that bring me back to those memories i just can't ever seem to forget. anything by linkin park can place me in chelsye's room. or gwen stefani & kelly clarkson & marcy playground bring me back to those morning practice in cross country that i somehow used to enjoy. even whisper by those twins or w/e reminds me of this exact moment at deveaus house w/ noah, and the song was so overplayed, we had heard it like 12 times that night. Does everyone have memories like that, just by a simple song?
and i'm also beginning to think of the songs that i'll probably remember in the future, that bring me back to this present. the final countdown is one thing i think of when i'm with my brother, this weekend is the first time we've ever played a real game, chess. as dorky as that sounds, when we were younger i'd beg and beg for him to play just ONE game of anything in our house. he never wanted to. and now that he has spent his first weekend home from detroit, we've sort of halfway bonded again on that game alone. & watching friends, a show that he loves & hates to admit it. a show that i could never get sick of. :p
my mom has decided that we should just completely eliminate heat from our house because it makes her sick. which means 903845 blankets + warm clothing & hot chocolate. i hate driving with her because if i put the heat on low [when the car isn't even warmed up yet] she forces herself to turn down the window. it's so weird cause me and my sister are like allergic to the cold.
this was so pointless. i was supposed to go further on the music part, it's the only reason i updated. :p
