I absolutely hate when my website's down. No doubt these days, the days of website-downity, are the very days when thousands of people are all clamouring to subscribe to Attack!!!! and read my other stuff. When it comes back up everyone will have moved on.
Plus it ruins all the other pages I've posted too with pictures from the website on. Gah.
Since I last updated I have -
- attended (and read at) the inaugural DickFest in Skreen in Sligo in Ireland. It was invented by
Gethan and Phoebe Dick and took place in the excellent house of their excellent parents, John-Mark and Ciara. The other 'drug-addled layabouts' attending laughed a lot at my piece (which was a good thing). I wrote a couple of things there too, you can see them on the
new Facebook group (get me to email them to you if you aren't on Facebook and don't want to be). I can be seen
in this picture at the end of the table looking bald and making a badge.
Myles who is to the right there made me a very good one. We'd all shortly before that picture had some Bison Grass Vodka with fresh apple juice which is a combination I highly recommend.
- definitely confirmed what is going to happen at the next Attack!!!! live. It's going to be brilliant. It will be at the Cube in Bristol on November 16th and
Cottonmouth Rocks and
Robh Hokum will be playing and
Gethan Dick and
Erica Viola will be reading and also Johanna van Fessem will be singing some Dutch folksongs and Gethan and I and a bunch of people we'll have co-opted will perform
the piece the Wellcome Collection commissioned us for earlier this year. For goodness sake put it in your diaries.
- sent one of the things I wrote in Ireland over to
Loxodonta and hopefully he's going to create some artwork to go with it which we're going to get up on the web somewhere. Watch this space.

Ralfe Band at
Start the Bus (whose walls inside are covered in good drawings) and bought their new album which just arrived today. Also successfully recommended it for purchase (successfully as in they've ordered it) for stock at Glastonbury Library, along with albums by
SJ Esau,
The Travelling Band,
Steveless,
Scout Niblett,
Zombie Zombie,
Smoke Fairies and more I can't remember off the top of my head. Result!

The Central Band of the Royal Air Force" at one of their 90th anniversary concerts. There was an actual original Dambuster in the audience! Which has to be worth mentioning. Also, their xylophonist was teh awesome.
