Futurama: Beast of a Billion backs
I have been meaning to write up a review of this for some time. I bought it the day after it came out and I found myself disappointed. I love the show and while it was somewhat odd compared to the show, the first DVD was entertaining. Unlike the previous DVD, which I have seen 6 times now, I found the second hard to watch through once.
It seemed flat and at times it seemed to go off onto tangents that didn't contribute in any way to the story. If they had been running gags or just amusing scenes as we passed through on our way to the end, fine, but they were not even amusing.
I think that the voice actors have done better work and our favorite characters were just not given the material they have had in the past. As a result they sound as bored as I was. Some of our most beloved characters almost seemed absent at times.
