Beloved's back!
Survival - Day 2: not much different than Day 1. Only yelled once to keep the kids upstairs.
Survival - Day 3-5: got the routine down. Housework was kept up, extra cleaning down on Day 5 in prep for wife coming home. Hope she appreciates it.
Day 6 - Wife Home! Due to 4 lanes being closed out of 5 due to construction, and a much needed nap on the way later - wife got home well after 2am.
Day 7 - wife is sick, but insists on doing the grocery shopping. *ugh*
And I had hoped with Beloved home that I would be able to leave the housework & kids to her, and I'd be able to concentrate on the work I need to complete before I return to work tomorrow (like 8hrs of work to do). It looks like it will be an ixnay on that idea. We'll see how things work out.
