Thanks...
Just a big thanks to everyone who wished me a happy b-day.
So in the past, I'm sure most of you know that I used to throw a party/get-together on the weekend around my birthday as a joint celebration for my b-day, chichiri_no_da's and dougan's (And we'd also include theheathen if she was ever in the country around this time of year.) But this year, nobody else was around ... Chichiri's moved out west, theHeathen is out in Korea, and I have no clue where Dougan is these days. So ... no party this year. Just kinda hanging out, nothing really special.
Well, there was something special.
I ended up spending a bit of the afternoon and then the evening with Shannon. She came over during the afternoon and we just hung out together for a bit, then we went out for dinner and a movie. And really, just because of that, it ranks up there as one of the better b-days in years. And having taken the whole week off work helps make it more fun and relaxing too ^_^
