The lab was open, in case anyone had any experiments to run or final projects to work on, or in case they had any questions.

Sam was there, planning to catch up on her journal reading. First, though, she had to make a phone call.

Sam knew she had put it off too long, but she didn't want to see the look on Cameron's face as she explained what she was doing and why. Still, she was leaving tomorrow and he deserved more than a note. She waited by the door frame to his room, then knocked, hoping he was in there. Mostly.

Sam, her translated schematics, the spare parts she'd scavenged and Molly had bought on Coruscant--and she felt a small twinge at all that was gone there--and her toolbox were inside the Danger Shop, as were her notes on the schematics.

Now all she needed was Cameron and his swoop bike.

Sam did some quick gift-wrapping before Cameron showed up, then started cleaning the engine parts on the bed with an old t-shirt.
