Sam, her duffle bag slung over her shoulder, tried to decide on which bed would be best. After some debate, she put her stuff down on the bed closest to the door, but not behind it a/k/a B2. She wasn't sure what Jack, D'anna, or Cedric could do offensively, but she knew what her capabilities were

Cedric enters the cabin shortly thereafter, a bag slung over his shoulders.

"Hello," he greets, tossing bag on a bed opposite of Sam's. "Don't tihnk we've met yet. Cedric Diggory."

"Hey," Sam said, offering her hand, "Sam Carter. Nice to meet you, Cedric."

[chasingsnitches]

Cedric shakes her hand and smiles. "Nice to meet you, Sam Carter. Ready for cabin living?"

[carter_i_am]

"Just Sam," she shook her head, "or Carter, if that will minimize the confusion with the other Sam. Yeah, sure, I'm ready," she said, beginning to unpack. "What about you? Ready for the wilds?"

[fates_jaye]

Jaye is on her side over in Seahorse A as soon as freaking possible. "Hi!" she calls over, sounding really happy.

"Jaye!" Sam called back, then walked over to the other side. "So, how much do I owe you for getting me into this cabin?"

"It's nice, isn't it?" Jaye smiles happily.

[carter_i_am]

"Really nice," Sam agreed, feeling only a little weird about ogling teenage boys. Hey, she had teenage girl hormones. It was okay. Ish. "And I'm sure there are girls all over the school who hate your guts."

Sam is way more excited about the whole cabin thing than he should be (even if it does mean he won't see Dawn as often, but he has high hopes for the workshops), and while Dean isn't around, he figures he can get away with it.

"Hey," he says to everyone who's already there.

"Hey," Sam waved, "I'm Sam Carter."

[psychic_wonder]

"Ah, so you're my name competition," he said, laughing. "I'm Sam Winchester. It's nice to finally meet you."

[carter_i_am]

"You too," Sam grinned back. "And I'm sure that the two of us living in the same cabin won't be at all confusing. Really."

[anextimeagent]

Jack waved a greeting to everyone. "Hey, people I know. Excellent. Anyone care if I grab that bed?" He pointed over his shoulder at the bed next to the bathroom.

"Hey, Jack," Sam said, "and that's fine with me."

"Hey Sam. Thanks." He paused, and grinned at her. "Taken over the radio station yet?"

[carter_i_am]

"Nope, but the school doesn't seem to care much about girlkissy," Sam winked. "I'd need help. Plus there's the question of what I'd actually do with the radio station once I had it."

Alec pushed open the door of the cabin and walked in, Dean on his heels. He grinned at the crowd, apparently in a very fine mood. "Hey, Seahorse cabin! Is everyone else here already?"

Sam waved. "I think you guys are the last ones. I'm Sam."

"Alec," he replied, grinning. "So it's a good thing Sammy has another nickname already, seeing as how you've got dibs on this one."

[carter_i_am]

"It's a very popular name suddenly," Sam snickered, "and I don't think he'd be happy being Samantha."
