Well I did it.
For the first time in my entire life, I told someone not on the internet that I want to kill myself.
The doctor was really nice and understanding, I'm going to see her again in two weeks and shes put me on the list for concelling. She offered me drugs, but I turned them down.
It seemed to go well.
I was correct about the Mental Health Act however, they really can commit you if they feel you're a danger to yourself.
I mentioned my fear of this to her, and she said its something they'll consider doing if I don't improve, but that they won't do it for now.
