Utopias aside, I think your missing the point. The reason Christian's exist are because God, and no one else, sent Jesus, to save forgive them for their sins. You can't group being a good person and being religious in the same category cause they just aren't. Religion from the beginning of time has been a violent enterprise simply because of the importance that individuals place on their eternal soul. It isn't something that people can just accept because the simple fact is if the only way to heaven or salvation or whatever is through accepting Jesus, Muslims are wrong. Being kind to one another and animals and shit only goes so far. I consider us best friends, but you know good and well we argue about pretty much everything. We are able to continue to be friends after it because we know its all in good fun, but people tend to find their identitites in groups, and we all know that when two groups clash nothing comes but violence. At Auburn frat boys fight each other over secret handshakes and shit, but when Georgia comes they come together and want to mess with them. Peace will never be achieved due to the sheer dynamic policies when groups of people come together.

You put A jew, A muslim, A christian, An atheist, and A hindu in a room you most likely you wouldn't ever have a problem. You add a couple of each religion in the room and without fail problems will arise. Multiply that by nations, millions of people, and America, then you have huge unmanageable problems.

The end.
