My first few day's at Hogwarts..

I had my first full day of lesson's on friday. I had Potion's with the Slytherins, it went ok, the professor, Snape, i believe he is called. Was quite hostile towards me. I guess he isn't up for taking in new student's. Ah well, his problem, not mine. I did manage to complete the assignment set in class, much to the professor's disgust. I think he was expecting me to have a problem seeing as i have been home taught. Harry and Ron, my two new friend's were having a little trouble too, but we all worked together and got the job done. Hermione is the girl that hang's around with them. She is really nice, and very intelligent. I overheard Harry and her discussing a certain aspect of the journal's. Apparently there is someone posing as Hermione, i heard the real Hermione denying that it was her, and then scolding Harry for using the computer. Saying it wasn't supposed to be allowed in Hogwart's. I take it she has read "Hogwart's:A history" like i have done.
Lunch was ok, i hung out with some Gryffindor's and we had lunch. I met the resident House Ghost, Nearly Headless Nick, he was cool. I was quite shocked to see all these ghost's floating around, because, as you know, i am from a muggle family, and city, which doesn't have ghost's wondering aimlessly around in..well not that i could see. Hehe.
I mentioned to a few people about coming with me to NYC sometime,like over the summer or something. i think that'd be cool, i could show them the undergroud music scene. They dont seem to listen to muggle music. Boy they are missing out. I have a load of song's from muggle band's and i might try and educate them into the beauty of indie rock and roll.
I then went to Charms, it was a really good lesson. I sat with Harry across the room was Braedon, he seemed pretty alone, so i told Harry i was going to keep him company. We didn't talk much, he seem's to be quite an aloof person, which is fine with me really.The teacher, Professor Flitwick seem's very energetic. I was quite shocked on seeing him,he isn't what muggle's would class as normal looking. I guess my brain is quite muggle, if you get me, i get shocked by thing's muggle's would. and that would shock muggle's. trust me.
The weekend has been spent just exploring around, mostly by myself, as Harry.Ron,and Hermione have this little trio thing going on. I did talk to some other people including Field from Ravenclaw and Braedon.
I am starting to like being here. Though i do miss home.
That remind's me, i need to ask Professor McGonagoll if i can send a letter..the muggle way.
