(no subject)
kids, school is in tomorrow. full time. i'd really rather not. testing will begin this week, as will actual homework. there's really no turning back now. we've reached THE POINT OF NO RETURN.
anyway, i guess i've still been slacking off on this. i know i promised to, but i think i've been trying to soak up the last of summer. now that school is actually starting, I might be more inclined to enter on a regular basis. don't hold me accountable for that.
today is sunday. it's 6:50 PM. i haven't showered since about this time on friday night.
the last day of band camp was yesterday, and it was followed, as tradition states, by the pig roast. although it was actually just a bbq this year. i think craig said that the pig was too expensive, but that's just urban legend. i really have no idea why there was no pig. but nick and matt came, so we went to craig's afterward. the evening was an enjoyable one.
anna slept over afterward, and we ate like horses. we spent a lot of time talking. i really had fun with that. after she left, it's pretty much been a lazy day. i spent an hour and a half working through the first 15 pages of rhapsody in blue. it's just ridiculous.
aaand now i'm here. and you've benefitted from my seemingly pointless update, i'm sure. i'm trying to think of something worthy...i can't seem to remember anything. oh well!
i guess i'll try to update sometime this week on how school/marching season is hold up. look for me in the halls; maybe you'll catch my eye.
