Ahh, post-Black Tie
So we went to Black Tie on Friday night, and it was all right. I dunno. I'm not really into the whole dance scene (with the exception of swing). I think it would've been better to pre-funk. Maybe we'll do that next year. It was me, Matt, Shannon and Paul in my group, lots of fun with the people, at least. We went to The Melting Pot for dinner, which took 2 hours and 45 minutes. Wow, the waiter was slow and made mistakes. The food was great, though. :) Except we were too full for dessert. I'm typing incoherently right now (wow, it took me like 5 tries to spell 'incoherently'...) because I'm sleepy and warm from drinking tea, and my jaw hurts like a MF! Ow. I have no idea what I did to it. Maybe I ate too many tall foods yesterday, like sushi and french toast. Ugh. I'm going to finish my tea and take a nap. Matt and I have been together nonstop for the past 2 days. Yay. :) It was quite fun, but he's sick with a cold now, and is a little off because of that. I fed him breakfast and Drixoral and Gypsy Cold Care tea this morning, so I hope he'll feel better. I just want him and a nice warm bed right now...ahhh, snuggle-naps. Yum. I'll just take a normal nap by myself. Byebye to Mr. Michael Jackson on iTunes-
