In awe of my boyfriend
Damn. Matt is so into debate. He and Logan are the 12th best team in the COUNTRY. Wow. I got to watch him do a practice debate with Lynn and Pete, and even just the rate at which they speak is phenomenal! I know Matt's excited to travel to Bellingham this weekend to do a tournament, but I will miss him. Wow. Oh well, he'll think of me, I hope. We just went out to La Margarita to give Shannon and Paul some time alone, and we had a banana vallarta (banana glazed with honey and topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate sauce, cinnamon and almond slivers), and I feel like I'm going to puke. Oh crap, ugh...spasm! Okay, anyhoo...so now, Matt and Logan are totally edumacating Shannon on topicality, which is this weird debate technique thingy that I way don't understand. I feel sort of silly around Matt because his head is full of all of this stuff, but it's okay because I have a lot more knowledge about classical music and biology and Spanish and etc. than he does. But still, he just knows the coolest things that blow my mind!
I also had my first real lab TAing experience today, and it went swimmingly! So much fun, and I actually knew what I was talking about for most of the time. Yay for Annie! We examined variability in nature with mollusks, M&Ms, and leaves. Okay, I think I will call Mommy and tell her about it and let these kids finish up their conversations so that I can have my Matt back. Tata everyone-
