The newspaper, slightly behind the times as always, reports that production is gearing up on a film about the WTO dust-up in 1999.

It's set to start filming in Vancouver next month, which means it should at least be good for the humor value, because if they try to pretend that this all happened at UBC or Simon Frasier, it's going to be a tough sell locally.

Judging by other news articles, the idea manages to have pretty much elicited the same response from everybody involved in the actual mess: "Doesn't sound like a great idea."

I mention this mostly because the cops are still out in force at the convention center, and they look bored. Very bored.
