Floods and a young man's compliments.

The heavens opened and the angels rejoiced, for Graham decided it was time he was potty trained.

Today I was wearing my Heralding the Arrival of Spring Weather dress.  When I walked into the living room Graham gasped and said, "Wow, Mama.  You are so beautiful."  He kept notifying me of this apparent beauty.  Clearly the child has an eye for fashion...first stripes and now he likes it when the ladies wear dresses.

Owen said "bubbles" today.  He also walked a whole bunch, something he's been putting off as a less expedient method of getting around.

Today I was able, for the first time, to hang laundry on a clothesline.  My back yard smells like fresh laundry.  Mmmm.

Please pray for us (and the whole city, really...).  They're predicting that the dike on the river (it's five minutes away) is going to break despite their efforts to build it up, and that the entire area is going to be flooded.  This means we've been packing up our valuables and will have to move our house in about forty-eight hours if we get the warning.  They're expecting the entire house to be submerged.  We're only renters, but that would suck.  We like our house and the rent is good.  We don't want to have to move our entire house to a storage unit and then live with someone like Dave's mom for a month or two.  So if you could pray that we avoid that little adventure, and that our lovely elderly landlady (who also lives on our street) wouldn't have the hassle of her million dollar dairy farm being submerged, that would be so very appreciated.
