Back To School
My kids went back to school this week! Is it wrong that I'm so excited about this event? I just love the first day of school. Every year I take pictures of the kids - both individual and a group shot. I take pictures of them getting on the bus, and I used to take pictures of them getting off the bus. I have pictures from the past 8 years doing this (my oldest is in 7th grade!!) The last few years my ex-husband has come over on the first day of school to watch them get on the bus and this year was no different. It was a very nice morning, my husband, ex-husband and I all joking and laughing with the kids....I like when we all get along like that. In fact, he even wished us to have a good day at work. I think his fiance has been doing him some good....
My husband was making fun of me for taking pictures. He asked me when I would stop doing this. I told him probably never. I could see myself taking a picture of Jessica her senior year of college. I'm crazy like that. I hope hope my kids cooperate.
