Ashcroft resigns, claiming that he's already accomplished all he can as Attorney General. Yeah, that's right. He was claiming things like gun violence and teen drug use at all time lows. What the fuck? You mean all time high, right? Heh, heh. Looks like the job got to be too much for the dude, I mean, he's not quite cut out for politics - which is why he lost the state Senate seat race to a dead guy before W picked him out to be Attorney General. So long Ashcroft, no one will miss you.
