Dear flist, I'll be officially on vacation starting from tomorrow.
Now, being me the same person who did three trips abroad last year, to Spain, London and Los Angeles, you'll be puzzled on how come I'm so happy to leave for just eight days to reach a hotel by the beach a hundred miles from where I live.
But the ones among you who have followed my family troubles this year won't be so surprised that all I need is to escape from here and relax without all the never ending worries and errands and everything that is characterizing my life these days.
Anyway, unless there's a free wi-fi connection at the hotel, I won't have the chance to be on line until I come back.
I'll bring Jake, my laptop, with me. Hopefully, if I relax as much as I plan to, I'll be able to read all the
dm_undercover fics, write two fics that have been waiting for me for months and do some Photoshop art.
I also plan to be swimming and floating in the hotel pool and in the Mediterranean Sea most of the time. Wish me good luck, because what I dread is a phone-call from home to tell me that something happened and I need to come back immediately.
With the nurse (or whatever we can call a badante), unless one of my parents get really sick, things should be under control and the errands can wait for a few days, but still I'm worried and feel a bit guilty...
