If this isn't coherent, it's because I'm trying to remember everything out of the three paragraph comment LJ just ate on me. (Goddamnit, LJ.)
To address your questions: 1. Andrea should be kidnapped by the army guys, and 2. I think the first option you presented works best. While I do like the other options, conflict with the intruder/terrorist group means more plotting and more NPC playing, because we do have to give them a little credit for their badassery. Medic or not, they're going to think Andrea is ridiculous. And like has been mentioned a few times around, the NPCs are great for plot when we need them, but it would be nice to see the player characters doing the brunt of everything, if we can make it work.
So, basically, if you want Andrea to rush off to try to rescue Romano, only to get captured herself. Meanwhile, back in the asylum, Canada has alerted the others to the fact that she's in trouble, now, too, and someone (a few of them?) get into gear to go over to the ship to try to get things sorted once and for all. Then, of course, there's nothing saying there can't be a good old fashioned shootout on the ship to get rid of any characters we aren't keeping after the plot wraps up, then to get the player characters, etc., back into the asylum proper.
This is, of course, all under a big "IF", depending on what you and everyone else involved wants to see happen. We can keep reworking things until people are satisfied.
BUGGER! didn't mean to do that! But yes, I agree with you, and lets hope everyone else does. I'll give it till tomorrow or something, and if noone objects, I'll write Re getting into trouble, and maybe borrow a few NPCs to help do that, and then you lot can do what you want!
I mean, excellent. Let Bird or I know if you need more clarification on anything, and I'm sure the soldiers will be perfectly happy to get Rea in to trouble for you.
