ACTIVITY CHECK and STATE of the GAME ADDRESS
Greetings and salutations, inmates!
☀ Arrive and Leave
We lost two characters, Luka and Romano. Dakotah and Bird have ascended to the mod tier. (The inmates are now running the asylum; oh shi-) Narva has moved up her echeladder to Fairy Modmother. Old news is quite old, but bears repeating for sake of completeness.
☀ Gone By
The military has arrived, and they're stirring up trouble. While this is going on, they've found themselves transported to a jungle and turned into animals. This provided a slight respite from dealing with the soldiers. However, upon return to normal the soldiers abducted Luka and Romano, holding them hostage until the first intruders, members of an anti-government resistance, were brought to them. They also took control of the computers and managed to disable the respawn function entirely. As proof of this, they killed Luka and Romano when the 'terrorists' were not delivered to them in the specified time frame. (Note: Due to time constraints, this last occurrence has happened off-screen. Feel free to have your characters react as appropriate.) Luka is definitely dead, killed as an example of how serious they are, and unfortunately because the mun is no longer with us we cannot play this out. However, as of right now there are still five hours left to bring the 'terrorists' in before they kill Romano. Because, as a player pointed out, it kind of limits things to just say, "This is how it's going to be," and I'm all about giving you lot more opportunities to play.
☀ Coming
The respawn is now offline. WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU: If your character dies, they will not be coming back until the respawn is fixed.
WE NEED INPUT FROM YOU. Yes. You. All of you. Your mods have so many irons in the fire. All the irons. All of them. In all the fires. (Well, okay, slight exaggeration, but both mods are college students and otherwise fairly busy.) For this plot to move along swiftly, it would be most awesome if we could have a player character or two or all of them push things forward. Plus, hey, two one innocent characters just got murdered, and your characters are next if the soldiers have their way.
The current plan is to blow up the military transport, however, this has not been brought up ICly yet. A player character is welcome to come up with this, or the NPCs can suggest it. Either way, the transport will get blown up. Once that happens, there will be a reduction in the number of NPCs. Also, the respawn will need to be fixed before characters can be restored to their own bodies. Once the transport is blown up, weapons and powers will be taken away once more.
Edit: It's worth noting that this? Can change. While we are limited in that we are trying to keep the inmates in the asylum, there's still a fair bit of wriggle room. So, on that note, feel free to throw plot ideas at me. Basically, what we're aiming for is to leave this event with a somewhat greater understanding of how Carriero works, a few more NPCs than we started with that will be more easily utilised for future plots, and hopefully some awesome explosions.

At present, we have 7 muns and 8 player characters, with two reserves that, should they apply and be accepted, will increase our total to 8 muns and 9 player characters. We need to advertise. Drag your RP friends in kicking and screaming~ (Actually, please don't do this. Games are much more fun when the muns are willing participants, regardless of the feelings of the muses. ;3 )
App This Please is coming up. We are going to definitely be seeking out the canons already in the game, because castmates are love. PLEASE MENTION IF THERE ARE SPECIFIC CHARACTERS YOU WANT, AS WELL AS OTHER FANDOMS THAN THOSE REPRESENTED CURRENTLY. Please. Pretty please with whipped cream and a pretzel on top. We don't know who to enable if you don't tell us who you want.
We are planning advertising at therpsecrets. If there are any other places we can advertise, feel free to do it for us! Current pimp code can be found HERE. (Cane, ostentatious gold hat with huge plume, and excessive bling sold separately.) There's also a really neat table-free pimp code down HERE, for those barbaric places that insist we not put our coding on tables like civilised people. What next? Shall they expect us to eat with our hands? Drink our tea without saucers?! Won't someone think of the children?

This check encompasses everything activity-wise from the month of OCTOBER. Any posts or threads done between the 1st and 31st of October can be used for it! This check will run from November 1st to November 10th, and you have until then to check-in with all of your characters (unless you're on hiatus)!

-Requirements for the check are as follows:
*1 post from any time during the month in either carriero or carriero_logs
*30 comments in any post that was not your own in either carriero or carriero_logs. This can be in one thread or in multiple threads; alternatively, you can use links to three decently sized threads in other people's posts.
Characters that were accepted within the last 14 days of October or were on hiatus for more than two weeks during the month of October have reduced requirements; they only need a) one post or b) 30 comments to pass the AC.
*Please note that we only use the HIATUS POST to determine who is on hiatus for the duration of the check. Please keep in mind that posting a hiatus note in the OOC COMMUNITY is recommended, but optional. But if you do not post to the Hiatus Post and are unable to check in, you run the risk of being removed from the game. Also, there is no such thing as an indefinite hiatus; if you give no ending date, we will assume that the timeframe is one month.
*If you notice that someone has hiatused in the OOC community and not in the Hiatus Post, you can let us know. But, we will require you to link us to the OOC community post that they hiatused in!
*If you were unable to fill the requirements for all of your characters during the month of the check, you will have the Activity Check week to fill them. (For example, if you couldn't post for Bob in August, you can do it between September 1st-10th and still have it count!) However, if you use a post for Bob from the first week of September, you can't use it again the next month to check in with.
We are also taking this opportunity to point out that carriero_logs has a distinct tendency not to bite any players who use it for characters averse to posting to the network!
