We lost ones character, Kaine.
☀ Gone By
The strangers were the ones who caused the "earthquake" - when they entered the spaceship that the asylum really is! It looks like a giant zeppelin floating in space...
And they want to cooperate, because they are running from the government of the German military and need every help that they can get. Their ship had broken down so they hoped to find what they needed to continue their flight here, but instead they found what this place is... They offered arms to the inmates, asking them to defend everyone against the military. Everyone seems to have been quite ready to trust the intruders...

The respawn malfunction continues (see last month's mod post for details.)
Weapons will be distributed. The military will enter the asylum. Soldiers will swarm out - and there will be contact with the soldiers and their officers. There will be fighting, talks and everything that a clash like that brings... What happens this month will be very important to the future of this game, so it would be awesome if everyone would contribute with some kind of input - mostly ICly, but also OOCly.
Additionally to everything, from the 10th to the 20th, everyone, including military and intruders, will suddenly find themselves in a jungle. And quite a few of you as well as of the military people and soldiers will find themselves in bodies quite different from their normal appearance...

I would really like to advertise this game more, but my timezone kind of kicks my ass a lot when it comes to that. Specifically, I would love someone to post an advertisement for this game to the rpsecrets close to when it goes up one of these nights. Please answer to this post if you'd be awesome and do it, and I will give you the html that is tailored to that community.
And since I'm talking about that already, all kinds of advertising this game would be awesome! Personally I like having a small game, but a few more muses and muns would certainly be lovely...

And, of course, the activity check which you will find under the cut.
This check encompasses everything activity-wise from the month of SEPTEMBER. Any posts or threads done between the 1st of July and the end of October can be used for it! This check will run from October 1st to October 10th, and you have until then to check-in with all of your characters (unless you're on hiatus)!

-Requirements for the check are as follows:
*1 post from any time during the month in either carriero or carriero_logs
*30 comments in any post that was not your own in either carriero or carriero_logs. This can be in one thread or in multiple threads; alternatively, you can use links to three decently sized threads in other people's posts.
Characters that were accepted within the last 14 days of August or were on hiatus for more than two weeks during the month of August have reduced requirements; they only need a) one post or b) 30 comments to pass the AC.
*Please note that we only use the HIATUS POST to determine who is on hiatus for the duration of the check. Please keep in mind that posting a hiatus note in the OOC COMMUNITY is recommended, but optional. But if you do not post to the Hiatus Post and are unable to check in, you run the risk of being removed from the game. Also, there is no such thing as an indefinite hiatus; if you give no ending date, we will assume that the timeframe is one month.
*If you notice that someone has hiatused in the OOC community and not in the Hiatus Post, you can let us know. But, we will require you to link us to the OOC community post that they hiatused in!
*If you were unable to fill the requirements for all of your characters during the month of the check, you will have the Activity Check week to fill them. (For example, if you couldn't post for Bob in August, you can do it between September 1st-10th and still have it count!) However, if you use a post for Bob from the first week of September, you can't use it again the next month to check in with.
We are also taking this opportunity to point out that carriero_logs has a distinct tendency not to bite any players who use it for characters averse to posting to the network!
