I have a question: what about languages? Do characters talk in the same language automatically for the sake of understanding each other? And what about accents and stuff? Yuri can speak various languages but I assume his accent isn't the best and he knows his share of curse words and stuff.

Basically, all language will be translated automatically into "common", or rather, characters will speak "common" if they don't think about what language they speak. If your character however specifically intends to use their own language and concentrates on it a lot, he can do that; everyone will be able to understand it, but it everyone will be aware that it is not the normal "common" (that means: please always provide translations OR write the foreign text in italics and mention in parentheses what language it is supposed to be), and only do it if your character has a good reason to put the effort into purposefully not speaking "common").

I has a question concerning dates.

Is there a concept of the date within Carriero and will the characters know it? Shishido-muse wants to know cause it's his birthday... today, technically (29-09) and he wants to muse on it >>

Technically speaking, no.

For now, they will just assume that it is the weekday/day of the month that it would be had they not been pulled to carriero (so if he has been pulled here the 24th of September, he'll think that it is his birthday. You didn't specify it in your application, so that would be a possibility?)

There will, however, be more or less seasonal decorations/foods/etc that hint at the time of the year. There is, of course, no telling that Linda doesn't just pull a prank on them, but it is something to go by. But none of that has happened yet.

0. That... that icon... hhhhhhhhh.

1. Characters generally maintain their physical form in the asylum - the only exception is that characters too big to fit through doors must be downsized so that they can. Sonic would still be Sonic, etc. (We don't allow application of non-sentient creatures, however.)

2. I think that if it's prosthetic, Linda would do her best to artificially remove the harmful aspect - e.x. they shoot lasers out of their fingers, Linda removes that capability. But people generally maintain their physical forms, as stated above; Prussia still has teeth TO KILL YOU WITH Samus for example still has physical strength far above that of the average human, though it is no longer superhuman due to the removal by Linda of the Chozo blood. It would probably depend on how sharp the claws were: Wolverine would probably lose his claws.

3. This would depend on the individual case. It's important to note that not all powers are lost, only ones used for combat, although other powers may end up being collateral damage.

It may be less prosthetic in the traditional sense, but the item in question is stuffed to the brim with harmful things, but at the same time the most important part of the characters body. Remove it entirely = Character dies. So generally only the actually harmful parts get removed or the harmful ability disabled, yes?
If that is at all possible, yes. If the way that the item is built doesn't allow for it, it would most likely be replaced with a similar item that fulfills the lifesaving function but is not dangerous.

What with seemingly harmless parts that theoretically could be used to harm another, but their apparent main purpose is rather like... Reaching higher places, grab hold onto something, being a third hand when two are not enough... Removed as well?
Yes, if they can do more than a normal hand could (since obviously hands aren't removed). We will mostly leave that up to your discretion.

Same question for a potential smallish jetpack that allows hovering over short distances. May not be harmful, but maybe unwanted? That ( ... )
