Now Canada has two tasks, not only finding Andrea but keeping watch over Prussia, and he's intending to take them both seriously. As Gokudera and Herr Fishy walk away, he draws himself up to be as tall as possible.

"Come on, Mademoiselle! Prusse!" He turns to start heading for the door, Kumajirou at his heels. "We have to hurry."

Kanaya walks to Canada, willow-like, still sneaking concerned glances at Gokudera and Eridan as they leave. God she hopes they know what they're doing. "Yes, of course," she says. There's not really much else to say.

The little nation's boundless energy makes him smirk, shaking his head, and he brings up the rear of their little group. "So, any ideas where we should start? Those two kids never mentioned where they were starting from. Unless Kuma-whatsit has Andrea's scent already?" He's honestly not quite sure how tracking with a bear will work. He knows how it works with hounds well enough, but a bear? Definitely outside his realm of experience.

"We need start near her room, where her scent is strongest, and follow the trail from there." The method is probably better applied to tracking animals, but he has faith that Kumajirou will make it work. Canada is already rushing towards the ever-too-tall stairs. "It can't be any harder than finding a rabbit."

"Are you sure rabbits have the same properties as a human body would?" Or for that matter a troll body would, which she almost says before "human". Gosh, associating with humans will take time to get used to. When they reach the stairs she ascends with a steady hand on the rail.

Canada pauses a moment, looking back at her, then determinedly continues up the stairs.

"I really hope so."

"So do I," she goes with. The idle wish that her huntress friend Nepeta were here strikes her suddenly; she brushes it away. Now's all the time. From what she can tell all these people were total strangers to each other before; she's lucky she even has Eridan.

"It should? I mean, if he's got a good sense of smell, then it should work. Humans just smell different from rabbits and shit." He's been following, of course, for once quiet. "So, I don't think we have to worry about, at least with Kuma being able to smell her."

If it came up, he would likely mention that he did know Canada prior to coming here, though perhaps he'd leave out all the weird time shit that means he knows a much older and far more British Canada.

On their floor now, Canada doesn't pay much attention to them, or any sense of whether or not he'd known Prussia prior to coming here. (And whatever you do, it's always wise not to tell him the messes he would get put through in the future.) Instead, he and Kumajirou just go to Andrea's door, where he gives the bear quiet instructions to find her. The bear sniffs at the door, gives a look to the rest of the team, and then turns around to waddle back down the stairs.

"Whoa, does he have her scent already?" Colour him very impressed by the bear's apparent ability. Maybe that wasn't such a stupid idea after all. Well, assuming they don't get led to Medic... But that seems like it wouldn't happen. He wastes no time in following the bear, not even looking to see if the other two members of the group are coming with. Of course, his assumption is that they will follow, because it would be stupid for them to not.

Which Kanaya is doing. Wthout commentary, however, because she doesn't particularly want to be a distraction. The other two seem to be covering most of the high points. She focuses more on keeping her eyes peeled as they go aong, lest some soldiers or imps or whatnot try to ambush them. Can't be too careful.

Kumajirou seems to be quite intent on following the scene for a while, leading them some ways through the asylum, before abruptly stopping. After a moment of sniffing around, he sits down where he is and lets out a growl. Canada rushes forward, weaving around Prussia's legs to get to the bear.

"She's gone?" The bear makes a sound, apparently affirmative, and the colony turns back to his team. "It must have been somewhere around here."

He nearly trips over Canada when the boy darts ahead, but thankfully no actual collisions take place. "So I guess we look around and see if anything useful turns up." He glances around, taking in the walls and floor. "Looks like she put up some kinda fight, at least. Good girl. Either of you see anything important?" Maybe if they're lucky, one of the soldiers will have dropped things they could use.

"I don't know!" Canada turns around on the spot, semi-frantic. "What would be important?"

Kanaya looks around as well, tsking when she doesn't see anything. "One of the advantages of this decorative scheme is the high level of contrast with foreign objects." She takes out her communicator and carefully checks that it's on. Hey, you never know. Maybe the others have found something. "Unless we happen to be looking for something else perfectly white. If we were it would have been nice to have been told earlier."
