"OH WHAT THE FUCK!"

The other person in the room goes entirely unnoticed for now because, seriously, what is that thing hanging from the ceiling and why is it there?!

Sergey can wait. He is pretty good at waiting. You don't become a good mechanic by being hectic and restless.

He'll just watch what Prussia is doing while he keeps leaning against the door.

He heads over to the strange tentacle looking thing, examining it without poking it. Who knows what might happen if he touches it? At any rate, he doesn't want to find out if it's something bad. "So, what is this thing for?"

You don't live for centuries and fight countless battles and win without being aware of your surroundings, after all. So now that the initial shock is worn off, he is going to acknowledge the other person in the room.

"I'm not sure." He speaks German with a heavy Slavic accent, but the grammar and choice of words is, while a bit old fashioned, correct. "I would reckon that someone had a very exquisite and ...special taste in furniture."

Barring the grammar and word choice from being prior to even the late 18th to early 19th century, he likely won't notice. What he does note is the accent, and it grates on him slightly. "Keh. Strange."

Finally he actually looks over at the man. "You Polish or something?" No, that's not at all relevant to why they're here, but he needs to know. Call it idle curiosity. He really doesn't have any ulterior motive beyond that; he's hardly the sort for subtle political intrigues and designs.

"Quite a few of them, yes." He seems surprised by the question, very surprised. "...There is a Poland in your world?"

"Yeah, there is. In more than the sense you're probably thinking of." He rolls his shoulders, wincing as they pop. "I'm the awesome Kingdom of Prussia. Who're you?"

For a split moment, a couple of emotions cross over Sergey's face. Disgust, hatred, but also pity and condescension. They are gone as fast as they came, and the blond smiles. "My name is Sergey. I'm the mechanic and technican of our group.

You seem to have been here quite a while. Have you interacted with those that brought you here?"

He's rather used to the disgust and hatred coming from Poles, considering he did partition their nation along with Austria and Russia, and unlike the other two he's been doing his best to get rid of the Polishness, but he can't figure out why he'd look so smug and condescending for a moment. Still, as curious as that makes him, he has a duty to find out as much as he can while giving away nothing they couldn't find out on their own by going through whatever records are kept.

"Ja, I have. I've seen Dr Simon a few times, and then there was that weird session with Linda? Like, the computer or some shit, I guess. And she appeared looking like a fairy." Gilbert frowns. "D'you know anything about them? Like, why they brought us here? And where the Hell here is?"

"We couldn't access many records, they are ...poorly kept, to say the least, but they make it sound like this is a normal asylum with normal patients. I'm not sure what to think about that, but I don't think that that ever was the case.

About the where, we are currently in a neutral zone, but it looks like this place is a demilitarized subject of the German sphere. Congratulations." He almost sounds amused at that, though the emotions from before are underlying.

The blond raises his wrist and flips up a little lid that is attached to something that looks like a watch. "Please look at these faces. Do any of them look familiar?" He clicks his way through a dozen of holograms of women. They look like passport pictures, and among them are Anne and the fairy's faces, only that the fairy is clearly a normal adult woman without all the blue tones going on.

"Seriously? This place is German and they suck at keeping records? Ugh, they should be ashamed." Prussia shakes his head. "Can't be mine, then. I'd never tolerate that." In fact, if they somehow end up stuck here despite these guys, he is going to be giving Linda a piece of his mind about not keeping accurate and complete records ( ... )

"I doubt that they had much of a choice, considering that they're all dead." Swergey's expression doesn't show any sorrow or even empathy at that. Either he has seen too many dead people, or he really does not care about them due to them belonging to the Germans. Or maybe something else.

"That would seem to be her, yes. She used to be a doctor here like everyone else in these pictures." He frowns. "I wonder how she came to be an AI."

The last point is something that Sergey partly draws a blank on, too, so it takes a moment until he answers. "We don't know enough about this place. What we do know is that it was created back when this technical possibility came up and was still hardly explored, to influence other timelines and worlds - typically German, if you ask me. Trying to get everything orderly and control everything, even when it isn't their" he seems to stop short of a curse word "job."

This is going to end up as a bit of a culture clash. That's not a question; it was never meant to be one. Gilbert is getting well beyond slightly annoyed by all the subtle hatred of Germans going on. "Na und? Maybe if the rest of the world could get their shit together, us Germans wouldn't have to make you all fucking organised." He crosses his arms, staring sternly at Sergey. He rather hopes the man is getting the message loud and clear: that sort of talk around the foremost German state is hardly going to be tolerated.

"Wanna explain to me a bit more about this world? Like why you seem to have a massive hate-on for Germans? And who the fuck thought it would be a great idea to have the guy who hates Germans talk to the personification of the Kingdom of Prussia?"

He takes a deep breath, though he really just wants to hit someone until his morale improves. "What government is after you?"

"Because we guessed that it would be a better choice to have Egil talk to the girl, and that Maryse should talk to the one that we considered the least of a threat." Because no matter how tough Maryse is, she is not only the only woman but also the only member of the group that nobody could replace if she were to be taken hostage or die.

Sergey shrugs and takes a seat, because this will take a while to explain. "The way you describe your situation, I will assume that you are from before 1871, is that correct? And before you ask, I'm trying to figure out what I need to explain and what not."

"...I woulda thought Andrea was the least threatening of us, but Gokudera is calmer." He grabs the other chair, turning it around sideways to sit, leaning back against one armrest and legs hanging over the other. Dignified? Hardly. Comfortable? That's debatable. Shows how many fucks he gives? Actually, no, because it makes him look like he doesn't give any when he actually is willing to part with quite a few.

"1815. Just finished the Napoleonic Wars. Y'know, kicked the frog's arse back to Paris; showed that pansy aristocrat Austria who the real power in Central Europe is; all that good shit."

"I understand." He seems to consider this for a moment. "In the future, Prussia will not exist anymore; it will be a part of the German empire, which stretches over a vast part of the world.

They are also the ones who are after us, but there is no chance in hell that your nationality, or you being a nation, will help you. Or the large one. They don't know you, you have no ID, and you have, by talking to us, already 'associated' with us."
