After all this time looking at it and drooling on it and wishing we had the money.... we've finally gotten one!
I have a Playstation 2!!!

We got our tax return this past week and since we've been suffering soooooo hard lately financially and just not being about to do anything special, we decided it was time we did something nice for ourselves! We talked it over, discussed the games we wanted, all the other things we could think of, and decided on a Playstation 2 because it's effectively three things in one. A PS2, a PSX and a DVD player!
You should -see- this thing play our Bubblegum Crisis and Card Captor Sakura DVDs! *dies from sheer visual and audio pleasure* JOY!!!
We also picked up one game. Harvest Moon : Save the Homeland. Kyle and I are big Harvest Moon fans and just love to play the games so we figured this was a good first game. And we weren't dissappointed!
Well, okay, maybe a -lil-, but not nearly enough to feel gypped or anything!
It's very very different than Harvest Moon : Back to Nature, as that one is almost entirely farming and a little bit of story, where as this new one is almost all story and has very little to do with the farm. It's taking some getting used to, but it's still sooooooooooo much fun!
