why "ON THE LOT" is a million times more entertaining that "AMERICAN IDOL 6".
Sam Friedlander is the fucking bomb.
below is his 1-minute comedy film called "Replication Theory". the writing is witty and original. and the ending just makes you wanna slap the girl to no end. hahahaha.
all the 1-minute comedy shorts are actually brilliant. (well, most of them anyway. the others suck ass.)
Sam's was the one i loved the most. SAM FRIEDLANDER FOR THE WIN!!!
but of course, he isn't the fan favorite, which sucks. the person who i've been predicting to win this show since the pilot episode is Zach Lipovsky. and that's cool with me. the guy is a freakin' genius. all you have to do is watch his 1-minute comedy called "Danger Zone". you'll see why fans love him. you'll see why judge Carrie Fisher bowed down to him and proclaimed "im not worthy!!" the effects are good. but it's that one long tracking shot that sealed the deal. he told an entire story in one long shot. unbelievable.
Zach is so gonna win. he's the most commercial filmmaker of them all.
(i'm predicting Will Bigham and Andrew Hunt as possible threats.)
but still, Sam is who i'll be rooting for. he's one of the few directors in the competition who can perfectly mix slapstick, wit, and heart.
so for now, enjoy Sam's 1-minute comedy...
