nothing like a thursday.
this afternoon the oil burner in our basement ignited into an inferno. i received a call from my brother in which he said "WHAT IS MOMS WORK PHONE NUMBER THE HOUSE IS ON FIRE?", I rushed home to find smoke billowing out of the house and my mother just arriving. We got the dogs out and the fire department put out the fire. There is no damage to the living areas but we had to leave because of carbon monoxide as well as structural concerns with the chimney.
alas, i am on a bed(whose spread is covered in honey bees and their comb) in a hotel. We are here for while I guess.
