im screwed out of a few thousand dollars. Insurance only pays off the loan. It doesn't replace your DOWNPAYMENT!
i prefer riding my bike anyway but my life doesn't allow it. I have a child that needs to go places like the dr..ect ect. Thats really far by bike. It's in another city. It's just not practical. Im so sick of these bike kids telling me shit because i drive a car. I have a real life with responsibilities. My life doesn't involve riding around all day on my bike preaching anarchy and all that bullshit.
Anyway, we'll soon be in the market for buying a new car. We can't even afford a cheap car without a downpayment.

GOOD NEWS THOUGH, yes i actually have some
The house we've been waiting on to be finished (for cheap rent) since after katrina is only a month away from being done! It's a cute two bedroom cottage style house with a dining room, larger kitchen then i have now and it has a dishwasher! It has a front and back yard. Its a fenced in back yard. and a seperate garage. A drive way so my car doesn't get hit by fucked up cabbies. Central air so my electric bill won't get out of control. So much more than i've had in a long time. I CAN'T WAIT!
