No one posts on lj anymore. I guess my space stole it's thunda! Well anyway if anyone is reading...
LIfe is slowly getting better cept for the fact that my dr. gave me that birth control patch..and it made me sick just like when i was pregnant. I ripped it off last night when i read that women were dying due to bloodclots from that damn patch..plus i was just sick of being nauseated.
I found a lot of stuff in my neighborhood. just down the corner there is a cool bar called markey's. They've got great prices and a good jukebox. I got excited when i heard an undertones song. Then another block down is a video store called Channel Zero. They carry independent, cult and just plain weird films. There are a few restaraunts in the area too. Now all we need is ROBERT'S to re-open and i won't have to drive more than a mile to do anything. I really do love this neighborhood and if the time comes that we are able to buy a home...im thinking this neighborhood. I hate to leave it but i might have to for cheaper rent. Who knows what will happen. It's just nice being out of the suburbs back in the heart of the city.
Mardi gras is coming soon and i got a babysitter for a whole week! I hope i get some visitors. I hope something fun happens. I need fun!!!!!!
I guess thats it. My daughter is crawling around trying to stand up and trying to walk. She got her shots today and was not too pleased. But mommy made it all better. dr said she'd doing things very quickly and learning fast!
